Reference approach

Use a controlled view, with backlighting where practical, to separate openings from the panel. Align the panel to its recipe and verify count and expected locations.
What a pilot should establish
- Include missing, extra and obstructed openings, tilted panels and normal dimensional variation.
- Agree the pass, fail and uncertain outcomes before testing. Record incorrect accepts and incorrect rejects separately using an independent sample set.
A correct total count alone can hide a hole in the wrong place; verify the location pattern too.
Outputs and line integration
Define the result required by the next process step, the time available to return it and the action for an uncertain result. Where records are needed, keep the image and decision tied to the inspected item or handling event.
Technical reference
Share panel variants, hole drawings and fixture details. We can define the imaging approach, integration points and a sample-based validation plan.
