Bottle Cap, Level, Label and Code Inspection

A bottle can pass one check while failing another: missing cap, incorrect fill level, wrong label or unreadable code.

Bottle Cap, Level, Label and Code Inspection

Reference approach

Bottle Cap, Level, Label and Code Inspection application illustration
Application illustration from existing Qualitas collateral; not evidence of a named customer deployment.

Separate the inspection into views appropriate to each task. Combine the individual results into one bottle record and return a timed decision to the line.

What a pilot should establish

  • Test cap variants, bottle tilt, foam, label seams and unreadable text or codes.
  • Agree the pass, fail and uncertain outcomes before testing. Record incorrect accepts and incorrect rejects separately using an independent sample set.

Fill level is a visible reference, not a direct measurement of mass. Bottle geometry and foam require validation.

Outputs and line integration

Define the result required by the next process step, the time available to return it and the action for an uncertain result. Where records are needed, keep the image and decision tied to the inspected item or handling event.

Technical reference

Share bottle variants, inspection fields and conveyor layout. We can define the imaging approach, integration points and a sample-based validation plan.
