Why Qualitas

Build real industrial imaging systems with a team that connects optics, image acquisition, application engineering and AI-powered inspection. Take engineering decisions from the bench to a working system, with clear ownership and measurable results.

What you will do

  • Translate customer inspection problems into measurable image-acquisition and application requirements.
  • Integrate industrial cameras and SDKs, lenses, lighting controllers, hardware triggers and synchronized capture.
  • Develop and debug image-processing and calibration workflows using Python/C++, OpenCV or industrial vision libraries.
  • Measure capture latency, dropped frames, image quality and repeatability; troubleshoot hardware and software together.
  • Support feasibility trials, prototype validation and commissioning; document configurations, test results and handover instructions.

What you bring

  • Demonstrated experience building, testing or commissioning physical machine-vision systems.
  • Practical experience selecting and tuning industrial cameras, lenses, exposure and lighting.
  • Working proficiency in Python and/or C++, plus OpenCV or an equivalent industrial vision toolkit.
  • Experience with camera SDKs and acquisition interfaces such as GenICam, GigE Vision or USB3 Vision.
  • Ability to diagnose calibration, synchronization, image-quality and integration issues systematically.

Useful additional experience (optional)

  • PLC/industrial I/O integration, multi-camera systems, OCR, gauging or visual defect inspection.
  • Production deployment, performance optimization, Linux/Windows IPCs or edge inference.

Your initial focus

Bring up a repeatable camera-and-lighting capture pipeline, validate calibration and timing, and demonstrate a working inspection prototype with clear test evidence.
