Dalsa launched the new BOA IDR model which is ideally suited for product traceability and verification applications. It allows manufacturers to combine 1D/2D code reading with character recognition to ensure all product markings match and are readable when they leave the factory floor. BOA IDR also includes a pattern matching tool for identifying or verifying graphical logos or product features.
Qualitas will begin selling this model in early April a couple of weeks after the launch in Chicago (in automate 2011).
